Breaking Barriers Fitness, LLC motto "Renew Your Minds, Transform Your Body!" is inspired by Romans 12:2. BBF, LLC believes that the body is the temple of the soul and we only receive one, therefore we must care for it. Our philosophy is that in order to improve and live healthier lifestyles externally, we must examine our current lifestyle and mindset, create realistic goals, and consistently nurture our body internally, to obtain external results. To support this philosophy, Fitness Coach Tina R. F. Jones partners with individuals to help them break barriers and enhance lifestyles through her expertise as a Certified Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Trainer, Health Coach, ACE Weight Management Specialist, Functional Aging Fitness Specialist, and Certified Stretch Specialist.

Coach Tina has also participated in 5ks, the Spartan Sprint, and is a Pro Figure competitor with the Organization of Competitive Bodies Bodybuilding organization. She is also a member of the elite Fitness affiliations IDEA Fitness and ACE Fitness.

Stretch Therapy Session

Stretch Therapy is a passive form of assisted stretching where specialists administer gentle flowing pressure to the body, to enhance the stretch. Stretch services are therapeutic services designed but not limited to enhancing mobility, improving flexibility and performance, improving circulation, reducing soreness or pain, relieving stress, and improving relaxation.

Who's it for? Adults Only at all levels ( beginners, intermediate or advanced fitness) (ONLY person services provided by appointment only .

How They Stack Up: 

Personal Fitness Training 

Personal Fitness training differs from personal fitness coaching as the trainer is physically present to provide encouragement and exercise form guidance.  Personal training is offered in person and designed with time-efficient customized programming and nutrition guidance.  Training is provided at a gym facility or in the comfort of the client’s home.  

 

As programming is customized to fit each client’s individual needs, exercises are selected according to the client's goals, the client’s favored exercises, and assessment results.  Incorporating strength, endurance, strength, flexibility, and balance. Nutrition recommendations meet the client where they are with nutrition guidance and accountability.

Personal Fitness Coaching 

Personal Fitness Coaching - Fitness Coaching is often sought by individuals who have experience with strength and endurance training but seek programming guidance, accountability, and an objective opinion. Through fitness coaching, the potential client has an opportunity to obtain structured fitness programming toward goals and execute through coaching guidance. Tina interviews and assesses the client’s readiness or potential contraindications to be considered. The coach focuses on long-term goals, observing and encouraging healthy behavior, nutrition, and exercise habits, advising clients on methodologies to adopt a healthy lifestyle, and monitoring clients toward health and fitness goals. Clients are also referred to healthcare professionals when necessary.

Health Coaching Services

Health Coaching services are a hybrid of weight management and nutrition coaching to help clients reach their ultimate potential and improve performance without judgment. Applying her client-centered approach, Coach Tina encourages the client to address challenges and partners with the client to determine possible options for a solution. The client is provided a regimen for weight management that promotes increased energy, reduces or prevents diseases, and improves overall well-being. To aid in the process, Coach Tina also provides knowledge and guidance on food types, nutrient content, and the impact of nutritional health.

Who's it for?  A virtual-only service that can be sought by beginners, intermediate, or advanced adults with health or general fitness goals to improve his or her lifestyle. Health Coaching is mostly sought by individuals who desire assistance identifying behaviors and triggers that impact results, cultivating realistic solutions to rectify behaviors, and establishing processes to accomplish health and fitness-related lifestyle goals.

What is the difference between Fitness Training and Fitness Coaching?

Fitness Training is sought by individuals with little to no strength or endurance training experience. The trainer attends agreed upon sessions to provide accountability, encouragement, and exercise form guidance. Fitness Coaching is sought by individuals with strength training and endurance training experience. The coach provides a customized structured exercise regimen that is performed autonomously by the client with periodic assessments and reprogramming as required.

How much are fitness coaching services?
